About Me

My registered name is Green Dancer Road and I was foaled in 2001 in the Fingerlakes of New York. I earned $41,000 in my professional career and sadly ended up in a kill pen in PA as many thoroughbreds do, feeling bewildered, frightened and alone. I was thankfully rescued from my fate at the eleventh hour and put into training to become a Park Police Officer in Washington, D.C. Unfortunately, I gave it my all as I always do, but the stress proved to be too much and I was honorably discharged after a short tenure. My self confidence was at an all time low and I was feeling like no one cared. In a wonderful turn of events, I came to live with my forever family in 2007. I now call my home a little quiet town outside of Gettysburg, PA. I am currently helping my mom try to live a life with purpose and intention which sometimes means giving her a daily dose of laughter.
